Introduction to Osteoboost
CEO Laura Yecies offers step-by-step demonstration of Osteoboost, including how to put it on, position it, calibrate it, and complete your first session.
Quick Start Guide
Download the complete User Manual
REMOVE OSTEOBOOST FROM PACKAGING
Use scissors to cut the black plastic zip tie and two rubber bands, and then lift the cardboard platform from the far side.
DOWNLOAD THE iOS APP (Android coming soon)
If you have an iPhone or iPad, start by downloading our iOS app. The app is not required to set-up or use Osteoboost, however it provides useful feedback during the tightening and calibration process.
1. Turn on Osteoboost (before putting it on)
Firmly tap the power button once and let go. After about a second, the lights will illuminate to confirm that it’s on.
Note: the button does not “click.” Watch the lights if you are unsure if the device is on.
If you have downloaded the app to your Apple iPhone or iPad, pair it to Osteoboost now.

2. Put on the device
Osteoboost works by targeting precision vibration therapy to the hips and spine. Placement and tightness are important!
Wrap Osteoboost around your hips (not your waist). The vibration pack/foam pad should sit on your sacrum, with the power button facing up.
The sacrum is the flat bone just above the tailbone (and the derriere).
Secure around your hips with the magnetic clasp. Once the two clasp ends overlap, they should automatically click into place.

3. Pull the straps tight
To deliver the right amount of vibration to your bones, Osteoboost is worn snug. You want the foam to be firmly set against the sacrum.
It may be easiest to tighten one strap at a time.
Pull a strap with the opposite hand across your body (like buckling your seat belt), using your right hand to pull the left strap and vice versa.
After tightening the belt, you may need to push it down a bit lower again to get it placed over the sacrum.
Having trouble? Try our iOS app! It will show you if the straps aren’t tight enough.

4. Stand still for pressure check and calibration
It may take 4-5 seconds for the pressure check to complete. If you hear a double tone, tighten the straps.
Once tight enough, you will feel a vibration pulse that indicates it is starting calibration.
When calibration is complete, Osteoboost will automatically transition to continuous vibration. Your treatment session has started!
Sometimes calibration is brief and you may only feel continuous vibration–this is fine.

BATTERY LEVEL AND CHARGING
To see the current battery level and charging status, the device must be on (if it is off, press the power button to turn it on). The lights indicate the battery level as follows:

When the charger is plugged in: A flashing white light indicates charging is in progress. All three lights will appear solid when the device is fully charged.
